What is Banana Republic?

Banana Republic was founded in 1978 in Mill Valley, California, by a travel-loving couple, starting as a shop for travel and military-surplus clothing with a well-known catalogue called The Travelogue. It became part of Gap Inc. in the 1980s and today presents itself as a destination for what it calls attainable luxury and heritage classics with a twist, for men and women.

The code campaign is for Kuwait only. The network lists the US site bananarepublic.gap.com, but the store that actually serves Kuwait is bananarepublic.com.kw, the brand's official Kuwait store run by Alyasra Fashion, which sells in Kuwaiti dinars and delivers within Kuwait. That is why we send you there: it is the store whose local shipping and returns terms are described here.

Prices when we checked: the Straight Corduroy Traveler Pant at KWD 39, the Everyday Wide-Leg corduroy pant at KWD 45, the Merino Mock-Neck Sweater at KWD 35, the Merino Zip-Up Sweater Polo at KWD 37, the Double-Faced Merino Sweater Jacket at KWD 70, and the Archive Reissue trench coat at KWD 115. For women, the Ribbed Buttoned Sweater Dress is KWD 89 and the Stretch-Satin Maxi Skirt KWD 50–55. Men's basics include the Luxury-Touch T-shirt at KWD 22, the Luxury-Touch Polo at KWD 25, and a wrinkle-resistant dress shirt at KWD 35. October arrivals include a belted Felted Wool cardigan at KWD 85, a long Vegan Suede coat at KWD 75, and a Merino Boat-Neck sweater at KWD 29.

The Kuwait store's sale section goes up to 50% off when we checked: a merino-cotton cardigan at KWD 36 instead of KWD 60, a wide-leg flannel pant at KWD 20 instead of KWD 39, a long georgette dress at KWD 40 instead of KWD 79, and some deeper cuts such as the Slim Traveler Pant at KWD 9 instead of KWD 37. For UAE shoppers: there is a separate UAE store, bananarepublic.ae, priced in dirhams with different terms (30-day returns and free standard delivery), but it is not part of the code campaign, so we do not promise AA76 works there.

AA76 and AA77 come from Alyasra's campaign on the Boostiny network, which started on 12 October 2026 with no end date announced, and each gives 20% off according to the network. There is no tracking link; the order is attributed by the code, so you paste it in the discount field on bananarepublic.com.kw, keeping in mind the store may exclude some items or the sale section and shows this at checkout.

Example: 20% off a KWD 115 coat is about KWD 23 if the store accepts the code, bringing it to roughly KWD 92. The free-shipping threshold is KWD 40, so if the total falls below it after the discount a KWD 1.5 fee applies, or you can choose free pickup at the Avenues or Al Khiran branch.

What to buy at Banana Republic

• Trousers: The biggest section on the store, from Traveler and Wide-Leg corduroy to the dressier City Stretch at KWD 39; check the size chart for length.
• Merino sweaters and polos: Merino Mock-Neck and Half-Zip sweaters at KWD 35–37 plus the Merino Zip-Up Polo; a light fabric suited to Kuwait's mild winter and air-conditioned offices.
• Coats and jackets: Sweater jackets at KWD 70 and the Archive Reissue trench at KWD 115; the priciest pieces, where the code makes the biggest difference.
• Shirts and T-shirts: The Luxury-Touch T-shirt at KWD 22 and the Supima tee at KWD 25, wrinkle-resistant dress shirts in Standard and Slim fits at KWD 35, and some linen shirts marked down.
• Dresses and skirts: Longer-length dresses such as the Ribbed Buttoned Sweater Dress at KWD 89, and long satin skirts at KWD 50–55.
• Accessories: Brushed Wool-Cashmere scarves at KWD 30, a small piece that can help you clear the KWD 40 free-shipping threshold.

Banana Republic shipping and delivery

• bananarepublic.com.kw delivers within Kuwait in Kuwaiti dinars, and it is the local store the campaign covers.
• Shipping is free on orders from KWD 40, and below that the fee is KWD 1.5.
• Orders are processed within 0–1 working days and standard delivery takes 1–2 working days (the shipping information page says within 48 hours), with no shipping on public holidays.
• Click & Collect is free: orders are usually ready within 48 hours, you are notified by email and WhatsApp, and you must collect within 7 days or the order is cancelled and refunded to the payment method.
• An order may arrive in more than one parcel at different times depending on where items are fulfilled.

Banana Republic payment options

The code applies before you pick a payment method, so the discount shows however you pay. Options at Banana Republic:

• Visa and Mastercard with no extra fees according to the payments page
• KNET
• Taly in four interest-free monthly payments with SMS reminders
• Apply the code before choosing Taly so the instalments use the discounted price

Banana Republic returns policy

You have 15 days from delivery or pickup to return an item if you change your mind, provided it is unworn and comes back with its packaging, tags, and all extras. The fastest way is to drop it at a branch with the invoice and your Civil ID; in-store returns are free and processed in minutes, or you can book a doorstep pickup for KWD 1.5. Most refunds are processed the day the item is received, but the policy asks for up to 30 days for the money to reach your account because of bank delays.

Steps to save at Banana Republic

1. Copy AA76 from the card at the top of this page and keep AA77 as the backup.
2. Open bananarepublic.com.kw (the official Kuwait store), not the US site.
3. Pick items and sizes after checking the size chart, and add them to the cart.
4. Paste the code in the discount field at checkout, tap apply, and confirm that 20% off appears and no item is excluded.
5. Choose delivery or free pickup at The Avenues or Al Khiran, and check the KWD 40 free-shipping threshold after the discount.
6. Pay by KNET, card, or Taly, and keep the invoice for any return.

Shopping Banana Republic from different countries: shipping and currency

Banana Republic sells internationally, and shipping and currency details depend on where you are. Here is what matters by region:

Banana Republic code in Kuwait

In Kuwait order from bananarepublic.com.kw in dinars, with KWD 1.5 shipping under KWD 40 and free above it in 1–2 working days; branches are at The Avenues (Phase 4) and Al Khiran Mall, open Sunday to Wednesday 10am–10pm and Thursday to Saturday until 11pm, with customer service and WhatsApp on 1820012.

Banana Republic code in the Gulf & Middle East

The Banana Republic code campaign covers Kuwait only. bananarepublic.com.kw delivers within Kuwait, and the US site bananarepublic.gap.com listed by the network has Gap's own shipping terms that this campaign does not cover; we know of no published shipping to the rest of the Gulf or Egypt from the Kuwait store. The UAE has a separate store, bananarepublic.ae, with its own terms and outside the campaign.

Best sale seasons at Banana Republic

• White Friday in November — Kuwait's biggest fashion sale season
• National Day and Liberation Day on 25 and 26 February — local offer seasons in Kuwait
• Early winter in December — a good time for merino sweaters and coats
• Ramadan and Eid — shirts, dresses, and scarves for family visits and gifts

Offers change faster than usual in these seasons; reopen the Banana Republic page on Koubonat before ordering because the cards are refreshed first.

Why is my Banana Republic code not working?

• You opened the US site instead of the Kuwait store bananarepublic.com.kw
• The item is in the sale section or among the store's exclusions shown at checkout
• You added another code on the same order, and the store usually accepts one
• You chose Taly before pasting the code, so the payments used the full price
• The code hit its usage limit or the campaign ended, so try AA77

Fix: identify the reason above, then try the backup AA77 on the same basket. If the total does not move, the offer does not cover your current basket.

Banana Republic code or direct site offers?

The Kuwait store has a dedicated Sale section with lower prices on some items such as linen shirts, while the new collection stays at full price. The 20% code helps most on pricier full-price pieces: a KWD 115 coat drops to about KWD 92 and a KWD 70 jacket to about KWD 56 if the store accepts it. Sale items may not take the code, so compare both prices. The advantage of the local store is free in-branch returns within 15 days.
