Avis promo code 2026

The Avis coupon that works right now

The best Avis discount code on Koubonat right now is B121000. Avis Saudi Arabia is the exclusive franchise of the global Avis car rental brand in the Kingdom, run by Arabian Hala from Riyadh with a fleet of more than 10,500 cars and branches at the main airports and cities. The official Avis Saudi promo code B121000 gives an extra 15% off the online rates when you book on avis.com.sa, and you can compare it with the weekly and monthly offers and the local membership discount, which starts at 20% for the Silver tier.

Shoppers land here from searches like “avis saudi coupon”, “avis saudi promo code”, “avis saudi discount”, “Avis B121000”. The workflow is the same every time: copy the code from the card, open Avis from the deal button, and paste the code in the promo field before paying.

About Avis and why the offer is worth it

Avis in Saudi Arabia began in Riyadh in 1977, when the family-owned Arabian Hala Company launched Hala Rent-a-Car with just 27 vehicles. Almost two decades later, in 1993, it won the exclusive Avis franchise for the Kingdom against a long list of established candidates, and the business has traded as Avis Saudi Arabia ever since. The official site, avis.com.sa, is owned by Arabian Hala and registered in Riyadh's Diplomatic Quarter, so booking there means the company's own rates rather than a reseller's.

Its About page puts the Saudi fleet at more than 10,500 vehicles with an average age under two years, spread across branches in the main cities and major airports: King Khalid International in Riyadh (Terminal 2), King Abdulaziz International in Jeddah, and King Fahd International in Dammam, plus downtown branches such as King Fahad Road in Dammam and Silver Tower in Al Khobar. Beyond daily rentals, the company offers chauffeur-driven cars, monthly rentals, corporate contracts and leasing, and international Avis reservations outside the Kingdom.

Anyone searching for an Avis Saudi coupon or an Avis Saudi discount will find that the real savings come from three official sources rather than a public code. The offers page lists weekly deals with free extra days when you rent for 3 or 5 days on selected categories, monthly offers whose price includes insurance at no extra charge, and seasonal offers such as the Eid Al-Adha deal (rent 7 days, get 3 free, with free branch-to-branch drop-off and 500 km per day). The third source is the Avis Saudi membership programme, worth 20%, 25%, or 30% depending on tier.

The only code we publish is the official B121000, listed on the Extra Online Discount page of avis.com.sa, which takes an extra 15% off the rates available online. Pick your car and dates on the site, enter B121000 in the coupon field before paying, and the discount is applied straight to the eligible rate. The code is for online bookings only and usually does not stack with another seasonal offer, so compare the total with the code against your membership rate and take the cheaper one.

What to book with Avis

• Core fleet: groups A, C and G: Small cars such as the Hyundai Accent and Toyota Yaris, mid-size like the Elantra and Corolla, and large sedans like the Sonata, Camry and Ford Taurus; minimum age 21, a SAR 2,500 excess, and one credit card.
• Selected Series premium cars: Audi A6 from age 23, BMW 5 and 7 Series from age 25, a SAR 4,000 excess, and a licence held for at least 12 months; available at the Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam airports and regional branches.
• Monthly rentals: The offers page says monthly deals include insurance with no extra charges, which suits anyone relocating for work or waiting for their own car to arrive.
• Chauffeur-driven cars: A driver service is available to individuals and companies, useful for business visits and events or for anyone without a licence valid in the Kingdom.
• Corporate rentals and leasing: Short and long-term contracts, fleet management, and a dedicated account manager, reachable on 920028281 or cc@avis.com.sa.
• International Avis reservations: From the Saudi site you can book an Avis car in other countries, with Avis present in more than 165 countries; the free Avis Preferred programme speeds up pick-up and tracks your rentals.

Booking and confirmation with Avis

• Booking is open around the clock on avis.com.sa, and you can see available cars and prices with no commitment before confirming, or book by phone on 920028281 or at any branch.
• The main airport branches in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam are open 24/7, while city branches keep set hours, for example 8am to 10pm Saturday to Thursday and 4pm to 10pm on Friday at some Eastern Province branches.
• At pick-up you must bring your original driving licence; without it the car will not be released, and any additional driver has to be there in person with their own licence.
• Changing a booking or upgrading the car goes through the reservations team with no amendment fee, and you only pay the price difference on an upgrade, while a shorter rental or lower category is not refunded.
• If you are not happy with the car you can ask the nearest branch to swap it depending on availability, and if it develops a fault a replacement gets priority.

Avis payment options

The code applies before you pick a payment method, so the discount shows however you pay. Options at Avis:

• Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners and Discover cards (prepaid cards are not accepted)
• A credit card in the driver's name to hold the excess: SAR 2,500 for the core fleet and SAR 4,000 for the Selected Series
• Prepay online or pay at pick-up, depending on the rate you choose
• The local membership discount is applied to the rental charge
• If you plan to pay by mada or debit card, check with the branch first, as the deposit hold usually needs a credit card

Avis cancellation and refund policy

Cancellation terms differ between prepaid bookings and pay-at-pick-up bookings, and they are shown before you confirm. A prepaid booking is fully refunded if you cancel 48 hours or more before pick-up; inside that window the cancellation fee in your confirmation is deducted, a no-show without cancelling forfeits the prepaid amount, and bookings made within 48 hours of pick-up fall straight under the late-cancellation terms. A pay-at-pick-up booking usually carries no charge unless one is stated in the confirmation, and the temporary hold on your card is released, with your bank controlling when the money reappears. The car comes with a recorded fuel level and must go back at the same level, otherwise the missing fuel plus a refuelling service fee is charged, and extra mileage, late return, fines and cleaning can be added too.

Booking Avis from different countries: fares and currency

Avis serves travellers from many countries, and booking and currency details depend on where you are. Here is what matters by region:

Avis code in Saudi Arabia

In Saudi Arabia you can collect 24/7 from King Khalid Airport in Riyadh (Terminal 2, tel. 0112202639), King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah (South Terminal), or King Fahd Airport in Dammam (arrivals). Citizens and residents show a valid Saudi licence with their national ID or Iqama, visitors show a passport, visa, their original home licence and an International Driving Permit where required, and the licence must have been held for at least 6 months.

Avis code in the UAE

In the UAE a separate site, avis.ae, is run by Avis UAE Rent A Car, part of the Mohamed Hareb Al Otaiba Group, which has held the franchise since 1975, with 24-hour desks at Dubai International (Terminals 1, 2 and 3) and Zayed International in Abu Dhabi. Airport pick-up or drop-off carries a one-off AED 50 surcharge per rental, and the toll-free number is 800 2847.

Avis code in Kuwait

To Kuwait: Avis Saudi Arabia lets you drive a car rented in the Kingdom into Kuwait with an official authorisation letter requested at a branch, costing SAR 100 per driver and tied to the length of the rental agreement.

Avis code in Bahrain

To Bahrain over the King Fahd Causeway: ask a Dammam or Al Khobar branch for the out-of-Kingdom driving permit before the trip, and carry the rental agreement, the permit and your licence at the border.

Avis code in Oman

To Oman: driving is allowed with the same permit, and the long distance makes a weekly rental the better fit, so check the daily kilometre limit in your agreement before setting off.

Best sale seasons at Avis

• Eid Al-Adha — the season when Avis ran its rent-7-get-3-free deal with free branch-to-branch drop-off, so watch the offers page two weeks ahead
• Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr — high demand for family cars in Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah, and booking early secures the category you want
• Saudi National Day on 23 September and Founding Day on 22 February — short breaks with lots of road trips between cities
• Summer holidays — the season for trips to Abha and Taif and for driving to other Gulf states with a branch permit
• Winter season — trips to AlUla and the north make a weekly rental with free days better value than booking day by day

Offers change faster than usual in these seasons; reopen the Avis page on Koubonat before ordering because the cards are refreshed first.

Why is my Avis code not working?

• You entered an AWD number belonging to a company you do not work for, so the rate was refused at pick-up
• The weekly or monthly offer covers selected categories only, and your car is outside them
• The driver is younger than the group requires (21 for the core fleet, 23 or 25 for the Selected Series)
• The licence has not been held for 6 months, or 12 months for premium cars
• You tried to combine a seasonal offer with another discount, and offers do not stack unless the terms say so

Fix: identify the reason above, then copy the code again from the card. If the total does not move, the offer does not cover your current basket.

Avis code or direct site offers?

Booking on avis.com.sa directly makes sure the rental counts towards your local membership and gives you the official cancellation terms and the same customer service number if anything goes wrong, while comparison sites may show a lower daily rate with different insurance and excess. Always compare totals rather than daily prices: a 5-day rental with free days can cost less than 4 days at the normal rate, and a monthly offer with insurance included may beat three separate weeks. If you rent often, reaching Platinum after SAR 10,000 of spend lifts the discount to 25% and adds free Avis Preferred membership.
